Transforming how we deliver our people services

St Christopher’s Hospice is seeking an experienced HR Project Lead to deliver practical, sustainable improvements across our People Directorate. You will lead transformation projects that digitalise HR systems, streamline processes and enhance the experience of employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle.

Founded in 1967, St Christopher’s is a leading hospice supporting more than 7,500 people each year across five London boroughs. This is an opportunity to use your project expertise to make a meaningful difference within a values-led organisation.

What you’ll do

· Lead HR transformation projects from planning through implementation, evaluation and handover.

· Implement and optimise HR technology, integrations and employee self-service.

· Streamline processes across HR systems, workforce management, rostering, benefits and reward.

· Build effective partnerships across HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, operational teams and external suppliers.

· Lead stakeholder engagement and change management so new ways of working are adopted and sustained.

· Measure outcomes and use insight and feedback to demonstrate impact and drive continuous improvement.

About you

You will be a solutions-focused project professional who can translate strategy into practical change, manage competing priorities and bring people together.

· A recognised project management qualification or equivalent practical experience.

· Proven end-to-end project delivery experience in HR operations, HR systems or transformation.

· Experience of HR technology, process improvement or digital transformation.

· Sound knowledge of HR best practice and employment law principles.

· Strong stakeholder management, communication, planning and organisational skills.

· A proactive, independent and collaborative approach, with excellent written reporting skills.

What we offer

· A rewarding opportunity to influence and make a difference in the community.

· Training and development opportunities.

· Season ticket loans and cycle-to-work scheme.

· Health and wellbeing initiatives.

· Competitive contributory pension, life assurance and a generous beneficiary plan.

· Free local street parking and some home-working opportunities.
