Job Overview

Provides subject matter expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement across complex and high-impact categories. Owns category strategies, leads advanced negotiations, and influences enterprise stakeholders to deliver long-term value, innovation, and supply resilience.

Job Requirements

  • Driving advanced supplier negotiations and complex contracting strategies.
  • Embedding compliance, regulatory, and sustainability requirements into sourcing and contracting decisions.
  • Leading enterprise or multi-region category strategies across direct and indirect spend.
  • Partnering with engineering and business leaders to enable early supplier involvement and innovation.
  • Evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring governance adherence.
  • Identifying and mitigating supply, cost, and geopolitical risks through proactive sourcing strategies.

What your background should look like

  • 10 years' Experience working in a global/region commodity role in a multinational company.
  • 5 years of Optical related
  • Ability to understand global markets, collaborate effectively with global teams, and experience in working with suppliers in the Asia-Pacific region and Global
  • Understanding of optical transceivers, optical components, CPO, optics passive fiber connectivity, Silicon photonics, Lasers (EML, Vcsel etc) and fiber interfaces
  • optical transmission, optical jumpers,Components used in AI/accelerated computing interconnects.
  • Solid understanding of high‑speed optical transceiver architecture: optics chain, fiber interfaces and optical budgets.
  • Knowledge of optical devices and materials:
