DESCRIPTION:
At Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll support our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer as a Data Analyst III. In this role, you'll transform complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain scalable analytics solutions, create intuitive visualizations, and deliver critical reporting that enhances business performance. Using your expertise in data analysis and visualization tools, you'll identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization while ensuring data accuracy and integrity. You'll provide analytics guidance, proactively recommending solutions and improvements based on your findings. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to deliver impactful insights that support our company's continued growth and success.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related role
• Preferred Fields of Study: Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related quantitative field
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Power BI, SQL, data analytics) are a plus
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel
• Strong experience with data visualization, dashboard development, and report automation
• Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with Python, R, or other programming languages preferred
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data warehouse concepts preferred
• Understanding of data governance and quality management principles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong business acumen and customer focus
• Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or life sciences industry preferred
