DESCRIPTION:
Join our HR Shared Services team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to meaningful impact on a global scale. As an HR Operations Representative, you'll serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries within our Colleague Services center, providing Tier 1 support through multiple channels including phone, chat, and email. You'll deliver excellent service while managing day-to-day HR queries across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. Working with detailed processes and performance metrics, you'll collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve employee issues efficiently and maintain accurate HR data processing. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in HR operations, customer service or call center environment preferred
• Preferred Fields of Study: Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field
• Technical certifications may be required for specific positions
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking); additional language skills a plus
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with HRIS databases and reporting applications (Workday, ServiceNow preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills with ability to handle inquiries via phone, email, and chat
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for researching and interpreting HR policies
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working in a diverse environment
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and data entry accuracy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
• Professional mindset with enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and perform computer work
