Associate Merchandiser (Vans EMEA)

VANS EMEA is looking for an exceptional Associate Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let's Talk about the Role

You will be responsible for assisting in the assortment creation for Wholesale Accounts for all our categories.  This will require you to:

  • Understand, support and execute marketplace strategy (LRP)

  • Support team with regional line architecture, assortment strategies, in-region pricing (with global guidelines) and marketplace segmentation.

  • Drive and manage quality of regional PLM systems, forecasting and analysis needs together with merchant and planning teams.

  • Support Merchant and Planning teams on analyzing performance and identifying demand opportunities for current and future seasons.

  • Support content deliverables for the region, ensuring GTM milestone deliverables are aligned to EMEA marketplace needs and accuracy.

  • Support team with impactful recaps and performance driving takeaways in all settings

In order to effectively manage these deliverables, you will:

  • Demonstrate a readiness and willingness to engage on all aspects of the business, from generating reports, sample management, merchandising showrooms and preparing for Go-to-Market milestones. 

  • You will also demonstrate your fluency in the EMEA wholesale environment and Vans' positioning while leveraging your ability to understand key merchandising principles and application toward analysis and support tasks.

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master's degree in Business, Design, Retail Merchandising, and/or Marketing are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
