VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Financial Analyst to join Vans FP&A team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let's talk about the role!     

As a Financial Analyst, you will be involved in Vans financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis across Wholesale and DTC channels, with a primary focus on Sales and Margin. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data within financial and reporting systems, supporting monthly forecasts, budgets, long-range plans, and management reporting.

Working closely with Sales, Planning and Operations teams, you will help deliver meaningful insights that support business decision-making and drive financial performance.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Own and maintain financial planning and reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data submitted to the Corporation.
  • Consolidate, validate and upload Budget, Forecast, Actuals, and Long-Range Plan data into our reporting system (BPC) and other supporting tools.
  • Perform variance analysis against Forecast, Budget and Prior Year, identifying key business drivers, performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare recurring reporting packages, ad-hoc analyses, management presentations, and reports for senior management.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align financial and commercial plans and support the development of annual budgets and long-range strategic plans.

Skills for Success

You are a curious and business-minded finance professional who combines strong analytical capabilities with a collaborative approach.

Technical skills:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline;
  • 1-2 years' experience in financial planning, business analysis, controlling, or a comparable finance function;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with COGNOS BI, ERP and planning systems is a plus;
  • Proficiency in English spoken as well as written.

  • Business and financial acumen, ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into clear business recommendations;
  • Strong communication and influencing skills;
  • Well-organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem solving.
