Your New Role...

The Sales Analyst provides business intelligence, commercial analysis and forecasting support to the Warner Bros. Discovery Spain Theatrical Sales team. The role combines advanced analytical capability with commercial insight to support revenue optimisation, release planning and strategic decision-making across the theatrical business.

Working across Sales, Distribution, Marketing, Finance and International teams, you will transform complex data into actionable insight, helping to optimise performance and inform commercial decisions.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve reporting dashboards, business intelligence tools, automated reporting solutions and analytical databases, ensuring data integrity, consistency and reporting automation.

  • Consolidate and reconcile multiple internal and external data sources, produce reporting for local management, EMEA and Home Office, and develop new reporting solutions that improve business visibility and decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain box office forecasting models for current and upcoming theatrical releases, monitor film performance and update forecasting assumptions.

  • Perform scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and Advance Ticket Sales (ATS) analysis to support forecasting accuracy and release planning.

  • Produce market intelligence, competitive analysis, market share and exhibitor performance reporting, identifying commercial trends, risks and opportunities.

  • Support Sales, Distribution, Marketing and senior management through analytical materials, commercial modelling, budgeting, forecasting exercises and data-driven recommendations.

  • Support Local Production evaluations, comparable title analysis, market sizing exercises, project assessments, reporting technology initiatives and continuous improvement across reporting systems and analytical platforms.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Demonstrable experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Financial Planning, Consulting or similar analytical roles.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex modelling and automation, alongside advanced knowledge of Tableau, Power BI or similar Business Intelligence platforms and experience creating dashboards and data visualisation tools.

  • Experience working with large datasets, developing forecasting models and using SQL or other data-querying tools.

  • Excellent written and spoken English and Spanish language skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.

  • Experience within the entertainment, media or theatrical industries is desirable but not essential.
