This has proven effects on profitability: for every 1% increase in gender diversity company revenues increase by 3%, with ethnic diversity increases revenue sky rockets by 15%.
2. Attract better employees
A whopping 67% of job seekers say they actively look for companies with diverse employees and that it’s an important part in their decision process for taking a job.
3. Increases employment engagement
Studies have also shown employee engagement rises with a more diverse workforce with 1.57 times more collaboration among teams and 1.19 times more intent to stay with the company.
