Arup's colleagues recognised in the global Outstanding Role Model Lists 2025

We’re celebrating two of our colleagues who have been recognised in the global Outstanding Role Model Lists 2025, which highlight people creating real change for LGBTQ+ inclusion at work.

Paras Shah, Programme Manager for Connect Out, is a passionate advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion. He brings people together through initiatives like our Annual Lecture, Queers on Wheels Roadshow, Pride events and community calls, and shares his lived experience with external networks to help create more inclusive spaces.

Tony Lovell, our Chief Operating Officer – Performance & Operations and Board Sponsor for Connect Out, plays a key role in strengthening LGBTQ+ inclusion across our organisation. He has championed actions such as inclusive facilities audits and equity-focused project principles, and supports the redevelopment of the UK’s National Transgender Monument to ensure broad representation.

We’re proud of both Tony and Paras for their leadership and the positive impact they continue to make across our community.
