Belgian Pop Star Angéle Comes Out

Belgian singer Angéle has come out through a snapshot she posted on Instagram.

Sitting on a rock the artists wear a t-shirt where “Portrait of women who love women”is written, accompanied by the caption “At least it’s clear… well, not clear, Marie,” followed that with a butterfly emoji, referenced to her relationship with Instagram influencer Marie Papillon. Angèle was making a play on the word “claire” (“clear”), which is spelled the same as the first name Claire. “Papillon” means butterfly in French, so she was referring to her relationship with Marie Papillon.

In the comments, Papillon responded: “She’s a lucky woman, this Claire.”

The lyrics of his songs ‘Your Queen’ or ‘You look at me’ already evoked love stories between two women. The young woman simply confirmed her romantic relationship with Marie Papillon, known for her humorous videos on Instagram.

As ‘Teller Report’ reports, her post received thousands of comments and likes to congratulate it, especially from the singers Apple, Jeanne Added or Cœur de pirate.

The post has nearly half a million likes.
