Boy George Doesn’t Care If LGBT+ Actor Plays Him In Upcoming Biopic

In a recent interview with TMZ, Boy George was asked if it would bother him whether the actor/actress who was playing him in the upcoming biopic is a member of the LGBT+ community or not, to which he replied: “Not really”.

He continued: “It would be the right person for the right moment, equality means equality for everyone, even normal people.

“‘You can’t just choose people to be more equal than others, everyone has to be equal.

"I think that was pretty wise, you weren’t expecting that were you?", he joked.

Earlier this year, Boy George revealed that he would like Sophie Turner to be the one who portrays him.

“People will say she can’t play you, she’s a woman, you know. But when I was 17 I would have loved to have been her.”
