British Bake Off Host Explains Why She Doesn’t Like The Favourite: I Want To See A Lesbian Love Story

Great British Back Off Host Sandi Toksvig spoke recently with the Mirror about why she doesn’t like the Oscar winning lesbian drama “The Favourite”.

“I still haven’t seen the lesbian love story, that relationship where two people adore each other, love each other, support each other,” she said.

“I still think that story needs to be told. I get so mad, I got really mad at The Favourite.

“There are lots of stories that need to be told, they’re important. My wife and I have been married 13 years and I love her more every day.”

Olivia Colman recently was awarded an Oscar for her portrayal of Queen Anne in the film.
