The British LGBT Awards 2026 shortlist has been announced, celebrating the organizations, leaders and networks that are turning commitments to LGBTQ+ inclusion into real progress.
At myGwork, we are proud to see so many partner organizations recognised this year. Their nominations reflect long-term work to build workplaces where LGBTQ+ people can thrive, be visible and feel genuinely valued.
Below, we highlight partner organizations shortlisted across multiple categories.
Championing inclusion through people and leadership
Several myGwork partners are recognised for the work of outstanding leaders who are advancing LGBTQ+ equality from within their organizations:
Awin – Trailblazer nominee Alexandra Parmar‑Yee leads business strategy and DEI for Awin and plays a powerful role in the fight for trans equality within and beyond the workplace. As one of very few trans women of colour in UK business leadership, Alexandra has helped transform her sector into a more LGBTQ+ inclusive space, launching ERGs, working across organizations and embedding inclusion into culture.
Booking.com – Future Leader nominee Lewis Bell is driving inclusive hiring as a Senior Tech Sourcer and Diversity Sourcing Specialist, and as UK Chair of B.proud. From neurodivergent training to founding Proud Voices, Lewis is reshaping what inclusive recruitment and LGBTQ+ representation look like in global tech.
Capgemini – Inclusive Campaigner nominee Hannah Scott, co‑founder of Capgemini’s Trans Network, and Trailblazer nominee Andy Goff, Inclusive Futures and Wellbeing Manager, are both recognised for creating safe, community‑driven spaces and placing trans and queer lived experience at the centre of policy, support and education.
Lewis Silkin LLP – Future Leader nominee Anna Bond is a thought leader on legal protections for trans and non‑binary people and leads the firm’s LGBTQ+ network. Through complex litigation, policy advice and internal engagement, she is helping clients and colleagues create safer, fairer environments.
Reckitt – Inspirational Leader nominee Eleonore (Ellie) Murauer harnesses global brands, including Durex, to drive LGBTQ+ impact and allyship, while serving as Global Lead of the company’s LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group. Her work shows how inclusive marketing, strong ERGs and senior sponsorship can move together.
Warner Bros. Discovery – Inspirational Leader nominee Rico Johnson‑Sinclair leads on skills and training at Warner Bros. Discovery’s CrewHQ, embedding inclusive practice into the production pipeline. His wider career reflects a sustained commitment to centring queer, trans, Black and Global Majority voices in film and television.
Inclusive campaigns, networks and ERGs
Our partners are also shortlisted for the impact of their LGBTQ+ networks, ERGs and campaigners who build community, influence policy and keep inclusion active all year:
DLA Piper – The Iris network is shortlisted in the Network Group / ERG category for championing LGBTQ+ inclusion, providing a visible voice for colleagues and running Iris Represents, a dedicated pro bono practice focused on justice and equal rights. DLA Piper is also recognised in the Legal Team of the Year category.
JLL – The Building Pride network, shortlisted in the Network Group / ERG category, has been central to JLL’s equality work since 2014 and inspired the creation of other internal networks. Building Pride continues to lead conversations with clients and peers, pushing the property sector toward more inclusive cultures.
MSD / Merck – The UK MSD Rainbow Alliance, shortlisted for Network Group / ERG, structures its work around three pillars: Celebrate, Educate and Collaborate. The network has increased visibility of International Day of Pink, Pride Month, Transgender Day of Visibility and World AIDS Day, and has deepened community links through Pride in London, volunteering and sponsorships.
Capgemini – Alongside the individual nominees, Capgemini’s trans‑led initiatives and wellbeing‑focused programmes show how ERGs and formal DEI roles can work in tandem to change culture, policies and everyday experiences for colleagues.
HSBC UK (Pride UK network) – While HSBC UK is not a myGwork partner, we are pleased to acknowledge Pride UK, shortlisted in the Network Group / ERG category, as a large and long‑running LGBTQ+ network contributing to sector‑wide progress.
Inclusive companies setting the standard
A number of myGwork partners are recognised in the Inclusive Company category for integrating LGBTQ+ inclusion into strategy, policies and daily practice:
Skyscanner – Shortlisted as an Inclusive Company, Skyscanner has reimagined its ERGs as RISE Networks, with RISE Proud championing LGBTQ+ inclusion and intersectionality. Through Pride participation, year‑round recognition of diverse identities and a strong focus on inclusive policies, Skyscanner demonstrates how global businesses can build belonging at scale.
Virgin Media O2 – Also shortlisted as an Inclusive Company, Virgin Media O2 is recognised for visible leadership, strong employee networks and a data‑led, intersectional approach to DEI. Inclusion is embedded into culture, policies and customer focus so LGBTQ+ colleagues feel safe, valued and able to be authentic.
Legal excellence and LGBTQ+ equality
Legal services have a powerful role in advancing LGBTQ+ rights. Two myGwork partner law firms are recognised in the Legal Team of the Year category:
Clifford Chance – Shortlisted for its leadership on LGBTQ+ rights, strategic pro bono work and visible advocacy across its global network, Clifford Chance combines legal excellence with a clear commitment to equality.
RPC – Nominated for Legal Team of the Year, RPC builds a strong internal inclusion agenda while supporting LGBTQ+ communities through external work that challenges inequality and expands access to justice.
These nominations highlight how legal expertise, aligned with inclusive values, can drive structural change and protect LGBTQ+ rights.
Business allies and visible advocates
Moody’s Corporation – Business Ally nominee Benjamin Grout (Moody’s Ratings) combines senior commercial leadership with active LGBTQ+ allyship. As a steering committee member of Moody’s Pride Business Resource Group and a representative on the Interbank LGBTQ+ Forum, he uses his platform to influence culture across financial services and strengthen support for LGBTQ+ colleagues.
Omnicom Media Group UK – Business Ally nominee Bethany Hushon leads the OMG UK LGBTQ+ Advisory Group, ensuring LGBTQ+ voices inform senior decision‑making. Through initiatives such as Conversation Circles and her work with clients like Nissan UK, she demonstrates how inclusive media and marketing can reshape representation and allyship.
A shared commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion
Across all of these nominations, a clear theme emerges: meaningful LGBTQ+ inclusion grows through collaboration between ERGs and senior leaders, between legal teams and community organizations, and between brands and the people they serve.
Their presence on the British LGBT Awards 2026 shortlist reflects the sustained work they do every day to make workplaces more equitable, representative and safe for LGBTQ+ people.
