Capco Recognised by OpenAI for Innovation and Responsible AI Leadership

Capco, a Wipro company, has earned two notable recognitions from OpenAI in recent weeks, one for how it builds AI responsibly and one for what its teams can deliver under pressure.

AI Governance & Risk Excellence Award At the OpenAI Partner Summit 2026 in San Francisco, Capco received the AI Governance & Risk Excellence Award, recognising its work helping financial services and energy clients scale AI with confidence, balancing innovation with strong governance to manage risk and strengthen compliance.

OpenAI Codex Hackathon Win The award follows another highlight: Capco's UK AI Lab won the OpenAI Codex Hackathon, competing against more than 30 teams and 100+ participants from across OpenAI's partner ecosystem. Their winning solution, Sentra, is a consulting-led retail banking tool that uses digital twin technology to identify vulnerable customers and recommend clear, explainable next steps for frontline teams.

Capco has been an OpenAI strategic partner since 2025, working closely with the company on emerging enterprise AI capabilities. Wipro CEO Srini Pallia described the recognitions as "a strong validation of the responsible and scalable AI solutions we are building" and a further step in Capco's push to lead on AI-enabled advisory work that creates lasting value for clients.
