"Cold-blooded killer" Brian Healless has been jailed for a minimum of 24 years, minus the 324 days he has already spent in custody.
Brian Healless arranged to meet his victim Alex Davies after exchanging messages through the dating website Grindr.
After they met, Healless stabbed Davies more than 100 times and then buried him under a pile of branches.

Judge Brown said after sentencing Healess that “this was a most brutal murder” and characterised him as “a cold-blooded killer”.
As the ‘Liverpool Echo’ reports, Healess’s defense team claimed diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia meant he had diminished responsibility but jurors dismissed that claim in less than an hour.
Judge Brown also said that “In my judgement you are an extremely dangerous person and although you have paranoid schizophrenia the illness did not reduce your culpability in any significant way.
“Alex Davies was a dearly-loved son to his mother, Beverley, to his brother Adam Deane and to his family and friends.
“He was someone who always put others first and had a great love of music. He had just been promoted at work and will never have the chance to fulfill his potential in life.”
