Drag superstar Courtney Act is set to appear on Australia’s Dancing With the Stars, reports Digital Spy.
The Drag Race alum and winner of Celebrity Big Brother will be dancing the series with a male partner, it’s confirmed.
"Imma be twinkling round the floor on Dancing with the Stars in Australia!!!” Act wrote on Twitter.
"Can't wait to do all the sexy dances and wear all the pretty dresses (hopefully no wardrobe malfunctions this time).”
Act said she would love to take part in the UK version, Strictly Come Dancing. When asked if she thought a drag queen could ever win that series she said: "A drag queen won Celebrity Big Brother! I know Channel 5 and the BBC are different audiences but I would love to.
"I love performing, I love the costumes, it's one of the only shows on television that every week delivers 'lewks'. I would love to be there.
"They've never had same sex partners, so I'd be in drag so by accidental default they've had two men dancing together but one would be dressed like a woman and halfway through I could come out as Shane and as a boy, dance with a male dance partner. I think that would be a shocking visual for the public.
"The first time I saw two men tangoing professionally, you never see two men dancing together like that."
