The bio for this new profile conspicuously includes "lesbian" among a list of personal interests and themes such as "home life," "wellness," and "travel." This public declaration follows previous discussions by the artist regarding her sexuality, though she had not explicitly identified as a lesbian until this update, Complex reports.

In a 2024 interview, Doechii had identified as bisexual, stating, "I think I’ve always been gay. I always knew I was gay. I’m currently bisexual," and confirming she was in a relationship with a woman. She added, "I have always known that I loved women. I’ve been very, very aware from an early age." This recent bio update signals an evolved and more specific self-identification.

Doechii, signed to Top Dawg Entertainment, has garnered significant acclaim for her music, including her Grammy-winning mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal, which featured popular tracks like 'Anxiety' and 'Denial Is a River'.
