myGwork is the global networking hub and job board for LGBTQ+ professionals, graduates, allies, and organisations to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace and beyond. It was created by twin brothers Adrien and Pierre Gaubert as a way to reinvent the way LGBTQ+ graduates and professionals search, find and secure jobs in inclusive organisations. It offers the vital opportunity to work for organisations that want to create a diverse workplace and respect your identity.
Here are eleven reasons why you should join myGwork:

2. A place to be your authentic self
The Gaubert brothers believe that LGBTQ+ acceptance should start at work. Workers shouldn’t feel they need to hide their sexuality at work – employees and companies alike benefit from a more open and inclusive workforce.
Research clearly shows that employees who can bring their authentic selves to work are happier, more productive and successful. For organisations, the benefits have also been clearly demonstrated through higher retention rate and larger profit margins. myGwork supports organisations to develop an inclusive culture to enable everyone to bring their authentic selves.
3. Inclusive mentorship
Mentoring can be a powerful tool for your professional and personal development, with benefits for both mentees and mentors. Mentors can provide you with huge leaps forward in your career. They can give you a keener eye for strategy and direction, help mentees be more self-confident, speak up, and be heard. Individual members at myGwork have instant access to thousands of LGBTQ+ mentors and allies to support them in their chosen industry
Mentorship at myGwork extends beyond traditional one-on-one relationships. Members can engage in group mentoring sessions, participate in workshops, and attend networking events that build collaboration and learning among diverse participants. This multifaceted approach allows for a broader exchange of ideas and experiences, enhancing the overall mentor-mentee relationship.
4. Vital education and DEI training at the myGwork Academy
myGwork recently launched the myGwork Academy to provide practical and relevant LGBTQ+ training and education that promises to create inclusive environments for all.
Unlike traditional and general corporate diversity training programmes that do little to challenge or stamp out ingrained prejudices, stereotypes, and misconceptions, the myGwork Academy courses are highly interactive, practical and drive tangible behavioural change to build inclusive workplaces for all. Users that score over 80% are also rewarded with a certificate of achievement!
myGwork Academy modules can also be seamlessly integrated into existing e-learning management systems, removing arduous administrative set-up burdens, so organisations can focus on what matters and get impactful training to the front line.
5. Free weekly networking and training events
The events page on myGwork can be accessed by everyone! You don’t even need to be a member to enjoy the fantastic range of free training and events available daily - it’s a great opportunity to explore different topics and skill-building sessions before deciding to join! 8. WorkPride
Back in June 2020, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic cancelling Pride parades across the globe, myGwork announced its first global conference, WorkPride, a 5 day conference which launched in the place of the cancelled events and attracted over 18,000 delegates throughout the week.
The conference brought together and celebrated LGBTQ+ people, during a difficult time for many people, and has been held annually ever since. All of the events at WorkPride are completely free to attend, making it accessible to a wide audience regardless of financial means. Moreover, the sessions are recorded, allowing attendees to return to the content at their convenience. This ensures that the discussions tackle an impressive array of hot topics in the business landscape and beyond, including intersectionality, mental health, allyship, and the future of work in a post-pandemic world.
The conference also features prominent keynote speakers, industry leaders, and advocates who share their insights, experiences, and strategies for promoting an inclusive workplace culture. Through panels, workshops, and networking opportunities, delegates have the chance to connect with peers, share their stories, and collaborate on solutions that drive meaningful change.

9. Multi-award winning efforts
Adrien and Pierre Gaubert have achieved remarkable recognition for their impactful contributions to diversity and inclusion since launching myGwork. Their innovative approach to creating a space that champions LGBTQ+ professionals has earned them numerous accolades in the field. Notably, they were honored as one of the UK’s Top 50 Inclusion Champions in the 2022/23 Diversity Power List, a testament to their commitment to empowering inclusivity in the workplace.
In addition to this prestigious recognition, they received the Attitude Young LGBTQ+ Entrepreneur of the Year Award, reflecting their entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to empowering others within the community. Their influence extends globally, as they were also named among the Top 100 Global LGBTQ+ OUTstanding Executives, highlighting their leadership and commitment to advocating for equity and representation on an international scale.
These achievements are a powerful reminder of the impact that passionate leaders can have in promoting diversity and inclusion, encouraging others to join the movement towards creating workplaces where everyone can thrive, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
10. WorkFair
The annual WorkFair event provides a distinctive platform to explore numerous job opportunities, engage directly with talent scouts, and participate in career-boosting workshops and panels led by role models. It stands as the world’s largest virtual career fair specifically designed for LGBTQ+ students, recent graduates, and allies, drawing thousands of participants globally.
Recent findings from myGwork, based on a survey of over 2,000 students and recent graduates worldwide, revealed that more than a third identify as LGBTQ+. The research also indicated that many in this demographic are hesitant to join companies where they feel unable to be open about their identity. A notable 70% of LGBTQ+ Gen Z students and graduates wish to work in environments that are open and accepting.
This report underscores the critical need for inclusive work environments that enable individuals to thrive authentically. WorkFair 2024 addresses these issues by offering job seekers the opportunity to connect with employers that are not only committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) but also actively create workplaces where everyone can take pride in being themselves.
The event provides exclusive access to leading global employers known for their inclusive practices and is free for all LGBTQ+ students, recent graduates, and allies aiming to progress their careers with employers that prioritize workplace equality. Participants can engage with top inclusive employers, apply for jobs in real-time, and take part in workshops and panels focused on enhancing job search strategies, interview skills, and career development.

When it comes to global LGBTQ+ outreach, providing organizations with tools and insights to enhance their commitment to inclusivity, myGwork is the best you can get. The annual membership option is designed on a sliding scale to ensure that every organization, regardless of size or budget, can take meaningful steps towards becoming more LGBTQ+ inclusive.
