London-based music artist Bernard Garby, known by his stage name BERNARD, has released their newest single titled 'Waiting For Your Love'.
The music video features a collaboration with renowned choreographer Anders Deeno Nielson, who has previously worked alongside artists such as Kylie Minogue, Justin Bieber and Little Mix, placing BERNARD among the prolific pop stars he has collaborated with.

The track, co-written by BERNARD and Swedish songwriter Shalisa Taylor and produced by PENGWIN, is an anthem about how it feels to be ghosted (to suddenly cease all communication with someone) by a romantic interest. Rather than follow the traditional ballad route for heartbreak songs, BERNARD chose to put electro-pop power behind the track’s production, giving it an authoritative feeling.
“I wrote ‘Waiting For Your Love’ after being ghosted by someone I was seeing,” BERNARD explained, detailing the core inspiration for the single. “It was such a bizarre experience and that situation I found to be so immature. It wasn’t just a hook-up. We were properly dating and then one day - boom! That person just disappeared.”
Garby travelled the globe from a young age, attending the University of Music and Theater in Hamburg, Germany, and receiving a full scholarship in New York at The Julliard School. He then moved to London, where he worked for a number of magazines including GQ, Vogue and Glamour. It was through this funding that he was able to pursue his passion for music and songwriting, whilst also maintaining an interest in the fashion industry.

“I've realized that I no longer need to focus on just one thing. Music and fashion are simply part of ‘culture.’ I am a person of ‘culture!’” BERNARD discussed, referencing his busy career. “Visuals are a big part of what I do. I only have a small team of people to help fulfil my artistic vision as long as I am 100% coordinating the entire creative process – from songwriting to fashion and visual execution, so having those skills are super important to me."
Waiting For Your Love is now available to stream on Apple Music and Spotify, and BERNARD's new music video featuring choreography by Anders Deeno Nielson can be watched below.
