Far-Right Speaker Announced at Boston “Straight Pride”

The organisers of the Boston “Straight Pride” have announced Enrique Tarrio will speak at their event.

Tarrio is the head of Proud Boys, a group listed as a white-nationalist, extremist hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).

They “long for the days when ‘girls were girls and men were men.”

According to their website: “This wasn’t controversial even twenty years ago, but being proud of Western culture today is like being a crippled, black, lesbian communist in 1953.”

Two members of the group were arrested previously this year over a homophobic attack, while Tarrio has been banned from Twitter.
