From apprehension to amazement: My move from India to the UK

In the midst of a career crossroads, I found myself yearning for change — a new adventure that would push me beyond my comfort zone. However, given the current global work landscape, options seemed limited. Fortunately, I had the unwavering support of a mentor at Elsevier, who consistently encouraged me to explore diverse opportunities and embrace a growth mindset. It was through her guidance that I stumbled upon a parallel role in the United Kingdom. Little did I know that this decision would mark the beginning of an extraordinary journey filled with apprehension — but ultimately leading to sheer amazement.
