Gay Couple Kicked Out of a Wetherspoon Pub for Kissing

November 22, 2018

A gay couple have claimed to have been kicked out of a Wetherspoon Pub for kissing, reports The Mirror.

The couple, who’ve asked to remain nameless, said a Wetherspoon manager asked them to leave The Rodboro Buildings in Guildford, Surrey after catching them kissing on the stairs when they thought they were alone.

“Then suddenly there was a shout from the bottom of the stairs by one of the door staff saying, ’Oi you two, out,'”said one of the men.

When they asked why the staff member replied: “Because of that on the stairs.”

“I replied, ‘You’re kicking us out because I kissed my boyfriend?’

“He just said ‘out’ so I asked him again but he decided not to reply.”

Wetherspoon has declined to comment, although they have said they would not be investigating the incident.
