Gay couple sent leaflets urging them to fight ‘sin’ instead of their wedding invitations

An Australian couple in the US were sent religious propaganda urging them to “fight the good fight of the faith” instead of their wedding invitations. The couple, Andrew Borg and Steph Heasley, are now suing the invitation company, Vistaprint.
The leaflets themselves warn against temptation, saying that “Satan entices your flesh with evil desires and sin is the result of your failure to resist the temptation. It is an act of rebellion against God’s holiness.” The couple paid nearly US $80 for 100 invitations and received these leaflets instead. They were then made to pay extra for new invitations to be printed.
The couple’s lawyer, Michael J Willemin, has stated the case “presents a particularly egregious example of a company refusing to provide equal services to members of the LGBTQ community.”
Vistaprint has stated that a full investigation has been launched to discover how the incident happened.
