Gay Olympian Adam Rippon Urges Americans to Vote Democrat in New Campaign

In a new campaign ad for the Democrats, openly gay Olympian Adam Rippon urges his fellow Americans to vote in the upcoming midterm elections.

Rippon became a worldwide sensation during the 2018 Winter Olympics, not just as a figure skater but as a political commentator, famously refusing to meet with homophobic Vice President Mike Pence.

“Earlier this year I made history when I became the first openly gay US athlete to win a medal at the Winter Olympics,” Rippon says in the video, “but I’m not going to be the only LGBTQ person to make history this year, and you have a chance to be a part of it.
