#GiveOneDay: Let’s Do Our Bit to Protect the Environment

On October 28, OneDay.Global's #GiveOneDay campaign will unite businesses and individuals around the world to help protect the environment. The event, taking place one week ahead of the launch of COP27, will give companies and individuals the opportunity to do their bit by giving either one day’s pay, profit/revenue, or action for the cause.

“If we act together now, we can speed up the most urgent climate change solutions,” stated the organizer. This summer has shown us all that climate change is real and happening now with devastating impacts. The economic climate is worrying, and there are increasing costs and other good causes calling on our hard-earned money. Limiting climate change is our generation's greatest challenge.

We know we need to change and act together if we are to preserve our planet and protect life on Earth. And we know what we need to do and how to do it. So imagine what we can achieve if we all joined together to give on one day to speed and scale up these solutions. That’s why OneDay.Global has launched this event, and companies like myGwork have already signed up.

By joining forces on October 28 companies and individuals can help in the fight against climate change. Donations can be allocated to one of four charities including Trees for Cities, Plant One Cornwall, Ocean Conservation Trust’s, World Land Trust. All of the projects aim to absorb carbon from the atmosphere to help limit global warming and protect both our planet and our loved ones, from the worst impacts of climate change.

The timing isn't ideal with such economic uncertainty, but climate change is the biggest challenge facing our generation. If we all give a bit, we can collectively make a big difference. A donation of just £10 will plant a new tree to help protect and restore our planet. Whether you’re an individual or company, you too can help by:
