How Danaher is driving community impact

At Danaher, we are passionate about solving complex challenges that span the globe, and community impact is a critical way that our associates bring their passion and expertise to challenges that reach beyond the business, lab, manufacturing facility or office. Guided by our mission to accelerate the power of science and technology to improve human health, we recognize that meaningful impact also begins in the communities where we live and work.

Through our volunteerism programs, our associates drive Danaher’s community impact through local engagement, global initiatives or cross-sector partnerships. Our Donations for Doers program rewards associates when they record individual volunteer hours, and associates can earn up to $500 annually to donate to their eligible charity of choice. Danaher also matches 100% of associate donations, up to $500 per associate per calendar year, to eligible charitable organizations or educational institutions.

Across Danaher, we often volunteer as a team. Team volunteerism is a powerful way to build connections across our Operating Companies and strengthen our culture. A few of our team activities include food pantry support, collecting and donating items to support disaster relief efforts, school supply drives and community clean ups. These efforts help to unite our associates in pursuit of something bigger than ourselves.
