Human Rights Campaign Announce ‘Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality’ List 2022

February 14, 2022

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) has announced its annual list of workplaces that are best for LGBTQ+ Equality, and a number of organisations, including Texas-based Allied Electronics & Automation, have scored highly.

The scores are collated using submissions and data provided to the HRC to measure the treatment of LGBTQ+ employees compared to their cisgender heterosexual colleagues, against HRC’s own rating system.

Allied Electronics & Automation, a subsidiary of Electrocomponents Plc, has scored 80 out of a possible 100 points, on the list which has been run by the HRC for over two decades. Jessica Chu, Group Head of Diversity and Inclusion, said: Really proud that the work we have done so far has been recognised however, acknowledging we still have work to do to get to that 100 mark! We know just how amazing the talent is within the LGBTQ+ community and we hope that this achievement will encourage the community to want to come and work for us!
