Humans Rights Campaign (HRC) has run a 30 second ad attacking President Trump and his proposed transgender military ban during the highly conservative Fox News program – the President’s favourite TV show. Costs for the ad are said to be in the five-figure range.

The ad includes several quotes from military and political leaders, including John McCain, urging Americans to “tell Donald Trump and Mike Pence to put our troops ahead of their politics.”
The TV-spot comes after HRC took out a full-page ad in USA Today also criticising the President and his military transgender ban.
The ban has been struck down by three federal court rulings, but advocates worry the President could push through policy’s so harsh they would essential act as a ban anyway.
