Hyatt Group Launches UK's HyPride chapter in celebration of LGBTQ+ History Month

True to our purpose of care, we strive to create an inclusive environment where both colleagues and guests feel welcome. With our HYPride chapter, we build and nurture a community of LGBTQ+ members and allies from across the globe to connect, mentor and empower one another.

HYPride | The UK Chapter

Our UK Chapter’s vision is to create an inclusive environment where our LGBTQ+ community and their allies can connect, educate and inspire one another. Its mission is to engage colleagues in HYPride UK activities promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, by raising awareness and creating an internal network.

In the UK, some Hyatt properties benefit from partnerships such as MyGWork, a business community for LGBT+ professionals, students, inclusive employers and anyone who believes in workplace equality.

HYPride also work as a team to raise awareness, educate and inspire all our stakeholders. It rallies colleagues around key dates and celebrations, such as Pride, and its champions promote initiatives so we can all contribute to a more inclusive world.

February shines a light on LGTBQ+ History, and we are delighted to have a dedicated chapter who, in their words, recognise the importance of fostering an inclusive workplace environment, where differences are celebrated and where we can all ultimately contribute to build a more aware and equitable world.
