Imerys Attended a Careers Convention

Imerys were delighted to be invited to attend the Truro School Career Convention on Tuesday, 18th March. The event was aimed at providing students with the opportunity to connect with employers and explore various career pathways, learn about career options, qualifications and invaluable advice to shape their future.

We were especially excited to see the strong interest in Geology from the students, which led to engaging and insightful conversations with our Project Geologist, George Willment from Imerys British Lithium Limited .

It was also a pleasure to connect with a student who has already secured work experience with Imerys in our laboratories in Par later this year.

In addition to the students, the event was open to the public, where we took this opportunity to engage with attendees, educate them, and raise awareness about career opportunities in the mineral industry.
