Inspiring Future Innovators: Year 9 Students Explore STEM Careers at Imerys

Imerys was very pleased to host Notre Dame School and St Boniface's College on where a group of Year 9 students were given a tour of our operations from mining to process plants and laboratory at Par Moor Centre. They were welcome at Par Moor Centre, with presentations from our Exploration and Resource Geologist Bill Cooper, Senior Metallurgist Chantelle Colquhoun from Imerys British Lithium Limited, and S&T Director Deeba Ansari and Senior Scientist Tanmoy Maitra, PhD CEng MIChemE.

This was a great way to engage students in STEM careers at Imerys.

It really enabled our students to learn about careers that they might never have previously thought of and sowed those seeds for future growth.
