Jamie Lee Curtis Supports Outing Closeted Anti-Gay Lawmakers

November 26, 2019

Jamie Lee Curtis said in a recent interview that she supports outing closeted lawmakers who advocate for anti-LGBT+ causes, ‘Washington Globe’ reports.

While promoting her new film ‘Knives Out’ Curtis, who is a known LGBT+ ally, said that normally she views sexuality as a private matter, saying, “I don’t think it’s anybody’s business what people’s sexuality is, to be perfectly honest.

“I find it like a reverse discrimination,” she continued. “People’s private lives are their private lives and whether I’ve ever kissed a girl – [I] have not – is irrelevant to whatever advocacy I participate in.”

She went on to make an exception which is if “you legislate anti-gay legislation but are gay.”

“I fully accept outing those people for the hypocrisy,” she said.
