Jim Parsons Is Creating A Docuseries Looking At Historical Moments For The LGBT+ Community

October 22, 2019

After the success of ‘The Big Bang Theory’, Jim Parsons is now working on a new docuseries for the upcoming streaming service HBO Max, called Equal.

The four-part series will bring to life landmark points of LGBT+ history and highlight 'forgotten heroes', giving them “overdue recognition for their fight for equal rights for the community,” reports ‘Metro’.

“Each hour-long episode will see never-before-seen footage, interviews and re-enactments to bring to life the story of LGBTQ+ trailblazers that have made history with their work and efforts. It will end with a special on the Stonewall Riots, ending with the first New York Pride event one year after the events of that evening”, the article continues.
