Kylie Minogue to Headline Brighton Pride

Brighton Pride has announced their headlining act for this year’s festivities will be none other than pop star Kylie Minogue, the BBC reports.

Minogue has sold more than £70m worth of records, with Pride organisers calling her an "LGBTQ icon".

Brighton Pride is a three-day event running from the 2nd to the 4th of August with last year’s headliner being Britney Spears.

“BRIGHTON! It’s happening! Can’t wait to celebrate #Pride with you all on August 3rd,” the Australian singer tweeted out after the announcement.

“In her first ever full UK Pride performance, @kylieminogue will be bringing us a very special show with some of her biggest hits,” Brighton & Hove Pride organisers posted on social media. “‘Better the Devil You Know,’ ‘Get Outta My Way,’ ‘On a Night Like This”‘All the Lovers’ & ‘Can’t Get you Out of My Head.'”
