Lady Gaga announced that she had "something to say about trans rights" in the United States. Acknowledging the importance of speaking up, she urged everyone to use their voices for positive change. With these words, she began a soul-stirring rendition of "Born This Way," accompanied by her piano. She paused mid-song to emphasize her message.

"And you know, sometimes you hear people say things like, 'I don't always know what to say.' Just listen. Don't say nothing. Listen. Listen to stories of real people's lives," she expressed.

In a particularly poignant moment, Gaga belted out the powerful lyrics, "No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgender life. I'm on the right track, baby, I was born to survive." These words resonated deeply with the audience, garnering widespread applause and admiration for the artist's continued, unwavering support.

The singer’s performance comes at a time when legislators have introduced nearly 500 bills across the United States targeting the LGBTQ+ community, according to the American Civil Liberties Union. Recent anti-trans remarks made by notable rock musicians Carlos Santana and Alice Cooper have further highlighted the need for continued advocacy and support.

The global superstar has been a long-time advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and has used her platform to champion trans rights. With the release of her 2011 record Born This Way, as well as the creation of the LGBTQ+ charity of the same name, she cemented herself as one of the pop industries’ most prolific and outspoken figures for the queer community.

In 2017, Gaga publicly criticized former President Donald Trump's since-repealed transgender military ban, expressing her concerns about the impact it would have on the lives of countless individuals. Taking to Twitter, she called out the policy, stating, "The message you have just sent has endangered the lives of people all over the United States and overseas bravely serving our nation @POTUS."

Lady Gaga's recent performance of Born This Way serves as a reminder of the resilience and strength of the transgender community. As the concert came to an end, Gaga left the stage to resounding applause, once again leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her fans with her unwavering support for LGBTQ+ rights.
