LGBTQ+ charity celebrates diverse expressions of masculinity in "#ManEnough" campaign

November 4, 2025

LGBT Foundation, a UK LGBTQ+ health and wellbeing charity, has unveiled its latest national campaign, "#ManEnough," designed to celebrate the multifaceted nature of masculinity and affirm the inherent worth of every man.

Building on the success of their previous "This Is What a Woman Looks Like" campaign, "#ManEnough" seeks to challenge restrictive stereotypes and foster a more inclusive dialogue around masculinity in contemporary society. The campaign launched nationwide today, coinciding with Movember and leading up to International Men's Day.

In an era marked by potentially harmful online influences and polarized debates, the LGBT Foundation emphasizes the detrimental effects of narrow definitions of masculinity. The organization notes the disproportionately high rates of depression and anxiety experienced by LGBTQ+ men, juxtaposed with the lack of representation of diverse male identities in mainstream media.

"#ManEnough" addresses this disparity through a series of compelling photographs featuring a wide range of men, including trans men, non-binary individuals, men of color, older men, disabled men, and straight men who defy traditional norms. These images aim to convey the message that every individual's identity is valid and valuable.

The campaign will leverage social media to promote a positive and inclusive vision of masculinity, share authentic stories reflecting the diversity of male experiences, and provide resources to support men's well-being and community engagement.

The initiative has garnered support from prominent figures, including "I Kissed a Boy" stars Adam Williams and Lars Fellows, LGBT Foundation patron Kunal Trehan and his husband Thomas, and TV personality Dr. Ranj Singh.

In a joint statement, Williams and Fellows underscored the importance of embracing authenticity in 2025, stating, "There’s no single way to be a man. Man Enough reclaims what it means to be strong, vulnerable, and real. It’s a celebration of identity, courage, and the unwavering truth that - whoever you are - you are more than enough." Fellows added that for trans men, masculinity is self-defined and requires no external validation.
