Man Armed with Gun Protests Drag Queen Story Time in Houston
February 5, 2019Conservative Christian and avid Trump supporter James Greene attempted to disrupt a drag queen story time event at a local public library in Houston, reports Out Smart.
Greene had already been issued a trespassing warning a month ago when he re-entered the building on January 26th, armed with a gun.
When Greene refused to leave, library management sort police intervention.
“A manager asked us for assistance because [Greene] was banned from the library, and would not leave when he was asked,”said Jodi Silva, a spokesperson for the Houston Police Department.
“He was previously banned for filming children at the library, and has been known to cause disturbances. Several officers had to escort him out.”
“We heard a commotion but never saw the man, or a gun, or anything,”said drag queen Regina Blake-DuBois, real name Ryan Barrett.
“Houston Police intervened and dealt with the whole situation.”
