The MENA region has one of the youngest populations in the world with 60% of the population under the age of 35. Although this region invests highly in education, they currently have an underdeveloped job market with nearly half of college graduates unemployed. The unemployment rates particularly affect women with numbers showing, for example, that 83% of female Palestinian computer science students are out of work.
