Marvel’s New Picture ‘The Eternals’ to Feature An Openly Gay Character

Marvel has confirmed their new movie ‘The Eternals’ will feature an openly gay character.


The Eternals are a fictional species of humanity who first appeared in a comic book form in 1976.




Their superpowers include superhuman strength, the ability to fly, the ability to read minds, to generate illusions and teleport.


Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios explained about the character in Good Morning America that: “He’s married, he’s got a family, and that is just part of who he is,”.


The Eternals will star Angelina Jolie as Thena, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Gemma Chan as Sersi, Kit Harrington as Dane Whitman, Bryan Tyree Henry as Phastos and Lauren Ridloff as Makkari.
