On Saturday 6th August, myGwork joined Yahoo, headline sponsors of Brighton Pride, to march for LGBTQ+ rights and celebrate our bright and vibrant community. Standing together as we danced our way from the Brighton seafront to Preston Park, we were showing our Pride and waving to followers along the route.
Held every August, Brighton Pride brings together hundreds of thousands of people to celebrate in one of the UK's most iconic Queer cities for a march through the city that ends at Preston Park, where a number of acts - including Britney Spears and Mariah Carey in the past - perform in a festival to celebrate the community and make the most of the good weather. Over two days, the community comes together across Brighton to party well into the night whilst paying thanks to the shoulders we stand on in the fight for our rights.

Sporting our shirts, we joined Yahoo down on the seafront bright and early to set up for the march, and being at the front got to enjoy the live music blasted out by the Yahoo van ahead of us - featuring a live performance by the House of Suarez, who were vogueing the entire way, to cheers from the crowd.
It was our pleasure - and certainly our pride - to be invited to march at Brighton Pride this year, to which we are very grateful to Yahoo for the opportunity to do so. We hope to see you at Brighton Pride next year - come say hi!
