myGwork Scoops 2023 Inclusive Award For D&I Tech Initiative

myGwork scooped the D&I Tech Initiative Award at the prestigious 2023 Inclusive Awards, hosted by the Inclusive Companies, at the Hurlingham Club yesterday (Tuesday December 5, 2023). The D&I Tech Initiative Award recognizes emerging, ground-breaking tech ranging from inventions that remove barriers for minority groups to tech companies developing impressive diversity initiatives to create change.

“This is a very topical award, given how much developments in technology are dominating news and our everyday live,” stated Paul Sesay, CEO of Inclusive Companies. “The panel was greatly impressed by the ways in which myGwork ensured inclusion was set at the heart of all its decisions and initiatives. This approach has allowed the organisation to lead the way in creating meaningful and lasting change.”

Many of myGwork's clients were shortlisted for the Inclusive Awards this year, as reported. myGwork's client HSBC also scooped the Diversity of the Team Award this year. The Inclusive Awards, organized by Inclusive Companies and sponsored by EON and Emcor UK, is the only awards ceremony that rewards organizations and individuals for harnessing a truly diverse workforce. These awards recognize the significant efforts of those who have excelled in their commitment to equality and inclusion across all strands of diversity. The entries were assessed by an independent panel of judges from diverse cultural and business backgrounds. Together they looked beyond policies and practices to identify those individuals and organizations who could demonstrate they have achieved true diversity, inclusion, equality and equity in their workplace or community.

The glittering event was hosted by diversity champion Sean Fletcher, best known for presenting on ITV’s Good Morning Britain and the BBC’s Countryfile, Sunday Morning Live and Songs of Praise. He praised the inclusive employers as he revealed the winners of the 2023 Inclusive Awards: “The Inclusive Awards are a great opportunity to celebrate those individuals and organizations who have done so well this year,” stated Sean. “More importantly, this event acts as a spark of inspiration for others to see what can be achieved and is hugely encouraging for others looking to bring about positive change in attitudes, behaviors and outcomes in their own circles.”
