The 22-year-old, granddaughter of King Harald V and Queen Sonja and fifth in line to the throne, shared her joyous announcement on Instagram, marking a historic first for the Norwegian royal family.

Maud Angelica's vibrant post, filled with colorful photos from the Pride parade where she donned the colors of the bisexual Pride flag, radiated positivity and self-acceptance. "Happy Pride from a bisexual person!" she exclaimed in a transcript translated by Vanity Fair. "This year’s Pride was absolutely amazing and there was so much love."
