Novartis | What Does Belonging Mean to You? Ravina's Story

Today we're remembering those who took part in the Stonewall Riots in 1969 and helped pioneer the LGBTQI+ rights movement that followed. Through Ravina’s words, we’re reminded of the progress these pioneers helped to spearhead and the need to continue to fight for equity and representation. Not discussing or acknowledging queer relationships growing up led Ravina to question whether being gay was bad. Over time, increased representation and open and honest conversations have helped her to know that she belongs. By building a world where we all belong, we discover more and change lives.
