Orlando Gay Bar Stages Protest of Trump’s Re-Election Announcement

A gay bar in Orlando has staged a protest against President Donald Trump’s re-election announcement (which also took place in Orlando).

Called the ‘Win With Love Rally’, the event is to show solidarity with the city’s gay and Puerto Rican population, who have been victimised by the current administration.

The organisers of the event are the same people who were behind the famous “Trump baby” balloon that flew over London during the President’s visit to the UK. The balloon will make another appearance at this rally.

“We plan to win with love, and we LOVE Baby Trump,”organiser Ida Eskamanitold Orlando Weekly.

“The Baby Trump balloon has become an internationally recognised symbol of President Trump’s regular temper tantrums that endanger this country and our desperate need for an adult in the White House. It is also a symbol of resilience; in the midst of darkness, we can find joy in a giant, inflatable baby.”
