Phillip Schofield’s wife Steph, said she stands by her husband and fully supports him after his recent coming out.
“I love Phillip, as much today as I ever have, and always will,” she told ‘The Sun’.
“Although this is difficult for us all, I support Phillip in taking this brave step,” she added. "I will still be there, holding his hand. Everyone should be proud to live their own truth.”
The presenter has received a lot of support after his coming out which was evident on Sunday’s Dancing on Ice, which he co-presents.
“You have always been an absolute legend but never, never ever more so than this week my friend,” said dancer Ashley Banjo, a judge on the program.
“I think I speak on behalf of all of us when I say we've got nothing but love and respect for you.”
Scofield, who shares two daughters with his wife, talked to ‘The Sun’ and revealed that he did not know what the future held for him and his family.
“It has taken me a long time to get here [and] I am not rushing to get to any other place. We will always be a family. That is the one definite, constant, absolute positive thing. And where the wind blows us I don't know.”
