‘Pitch Perfect’ star Anna Camp confirms she’s dating a woman

Almost six years following her divorce from Skylar Astin, Anna Camp has found a perfect partner.

The actress from You subtly introduced her relationship with Jade Whipkey, an on-set stylist, through her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, according to ‘News’.

In a photo shared from Whipkey’s Instagram Stories, Camp is seen sitting at an outdoor restaurant table, her blonde hair cascading over her shoulder as she gazes into the distance.

A candle on the table illuminated two champagne glasses, creating a romantic date-night ambiance.

“Her smile is a poem, her eyes are roses, her laugh is music for dancing,” Whipkey had written over the image.

According to Out, the Pitch Perfect actress had earlier shared a similar image of Whipkey sipping wine at sunset on her Instagram Stories, captioning it “date night” with two red rose emojis.

Their romance was previously discussed in a TikTok video from February that recently resurfaced.

In it, the couple answered interview questions about their worst dates.

Camp revealed, “I left a date once because a guy was like 45 minutes late and I stayed and waited. Then he said that I was prettier in a movie than I was in person, because I’m an actor, and I was like, ‘OK, bye.’”

Camp then lovingly asked Whipkey, “What about you, babe?”

Whipkey responded, “I think it was the only date I ever went on with a boy. And he kept calling me ‘f**ker’ the whole time.”

They both laughed, and when asked about first date expectations with a man, Camp replied, “I don’t expect anything. Not anymore because I’m dating a woman, and it’s great.”

Whipkey agreed, saying, “Same, same,” with a laugh.

Camp’s representative did not immediately reply to Page Six’s request for comment.

Camp, now 42, was previously engaged to Pitch Perfect co-star Skylar Astin, 37, in January 2016, marrying him that September.

However, their marriage was brief—they separated in April 2019, with Camp filing for divorce.

“We can confirm that we have decided to separate, and this decision was made mutually and amicably,” Camp’s representative told Page Six at the time, requesting privacy during the transition.

The former couple met on the set of the popular musical film, dating for three years before marrying.

Most recently, Camp was linked to drummer Michael Johnson, seen together in 2020.

She captioned a photo with him in Joshua Tree, California, “In the middle of nowhere with no one I’d rather be with.”

Camp is set to reunite with Pitch Perfect co-star Rebel Wilson in ‘Bride Hard,’ releasing in June.
