Ruby Rose’s Lesbian Batwoman to Get Her Own Show
January 4, 2019Ruby Rose is set star as a lesbian Batwoman in her own TV show, TVLine reports.
The pilot has been ordered by the CW Network in America following her successful debut as Kate Kane in a December crossover episode of Supergirl.
The news has sent fans into a tizzy across the internet, with one twitter user tweeting: “Real representation matters! So excited to have a community represented!”
The series will be run by The Flash and Arrow director David Nutter– who also directed episodes of Game of Thrones, including the now infamous Red Wedding episode.
The lesbian superhero series will premiere in Autumn 2019.
