‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ star Trinity K. Bonet comes out as trans

Trinity K. Bonet, a contestant from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 6 and All Stars 6, has publicly come out as trans. After sharing a series of photos and videos on social media that sparked speculation among the Drag Race fandom, Trinity has now released a statement to Out confirming this significant moment in her life.

According to ‘Out’, the speculation regarding Trinity K. Bonet’s coming out began on Sunday, December 15, when the Drag Race alum posted a picture on X (formerly Twitter) with a caption that featured three emojis: the two hearts emoji, the trans flag emoji, and the squinting face with tongue emoji.

Out contacted Trinity for a comment, to which she responded:

“Hey, how are you doing? Yeah, I did come out. Lol but I'm not trying to do interviews and make a big deal about it. I've always been Trinity. I'm just keeping wig on. Lol.”

Trinity, who gained fame as a Lip Sync Assassin on Drag Race season 6, reached the top 5 semifinals on All Stars 6, and is a competitor in the 2024 Miss Continental pageant, had been hinting at her transition in various posts over the weekend.

For example, on Saturday, December 14, Trinity shared an Instagram story that described “the Aquarius woman,” highlighting her zodiac sign. Additionally, on Sunday, December 15, she posted an Instagram story that featured her Snapchat handle (@buttercup202425) alongside the name Trinity Jones.
