Queer Mary University of London students are undertaking research into the impact of diversity climates on employees.
For many years societies have wanted greater social equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). Now, more than ever, this topic is being addressed within organizations. Debates on the topic vary from its usefulness in the goal of an inclusive and equal workplace to its being a box-checking exercise. This study will investigate the ways individuals are impacted by how their personal values towards EDI align or misalign with their organization’s. This survey is completely anonymous. The researcher, your employer, and anyone else will not be able to trace your answers to you, so please respond with complete honesty. Participation will only consist of responding to this survey. Once you have completed the survey, your participation will also be complete. In this survey, you will be asked to respond on a scale to statements provided (i.e. Strongly Disagree, Strongly Agree, etc). Questions will range from your personal values towards in the workplace, an assessment of your employer’s EDI values to job satisfaction and work commitment. The survey length has been targeted to be less than minutes long.
