Susan Sarandon is discussing her preferences in a partner, emphasising that gender and age are not limiting factors.
In a recent conversation with The Times UK about her upcoming film, ‘The Gutter’, and her feelings of being blacklisted in Hollywood due to her pro-Palestine stance, the actress reflected on her extensive acting career and offered insights into her personal life, including her dating life.
“It has to be somebody who has curiosity, a sense of humour, intelligence and appetite for life,” she expressed regarding her ideal future partner. “So God bless you if you manage to find somebody who fulfills any of those things, whether they’re younger, whether they’re older, whether they’re female or male, whether they’re gender-fluid, whatever. Those are just details. I think the big thing is finding someone with an open heart and open mind who’s still curious.”
For those curious about her openness to same-sex relationships, the interviewer pointed out that Sarandon has previously indicated she would be completely content dating a woman, as ‘Yahoo! News’ writes.
“I don't care if it's a man or a woman,” she mentioned to PEOPLE in 2021. “I'm open to all age, all color. And those for me, those things are just details. But what I'm interested in is someone who wants to be adventuresome.”
